Oakdale author promotes alternative healing

As a registered nurse who cared for patients in emergency rooms and surgical wards, Maureen Minnehan Jones of Oakdale always wondered about the causes of disease.
She discovered a philosophy that transformed her life and launched her on a career teaching alternative methods of healing.
Jones became a guided imagery practitioner in 2002 and spent the past five years writing a book "Wisdom to Wellness" which was published by O Books and released last month.

Wellness Educator Preps For Conference, Book Release
Local health and wellness educator Maureen Minnehan Jones of Oakdale will be having her new book released the same time she will be doing a presentation at the Alzheimer’s International Conference in Toronto, Canada. Her book, “Wisdom To Wellness,” is scheduled to be released March 25, the same weekend she will be in Toronto for the conference.
